Jessica Alba runs peril of being cut out of Fantastic Four: Fantastic Four star Jessica Alba is running the risk of being cut out of the next movie as one of the Marvel characters is being killed off. Publishers are to kill off one of the characters in the January edition of the comic, Marvel has announced, and it is not known whether it will be Mr Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch or The Thing. Issue 587 will see the death of one of the characters after all of them were left in life-threatening situations in the last edition.

Alba played the role of the Invisible Woman in the two movie adaptations that also starred Chris Evans and Ioan Gruffudd. Executive editor Tom Brevoort said: 'It's a story that will have a transformative effect on these characters - virtually nothing will be the same after the events of this story. 'And that was the reason to go this route - to bring about these seismic changes to the characters and to the series.'
